Douglas (Doug) Eugene Shultz went home to be with the lord on December 16, 2025. Doug was born on April 12, 1942 to Kate and Gene Shultz in Jefferson, Iowa and was the oldest of seven children. While in High School, Doug was active in FFA, football, basketball, and track.
He moved to Beaver in 1968. Where he married the love of his life on June 27, 1970 at the Baptist Church in Beaver, Ok. Doug and Cathy were blessed with two children, Nancy and Stephanie.
During his life he had various jobs until he moved to Beaver where he worked for Zenith Drilling, Howard Drilling and ran and operated his own business D & S Auto until his death.
Doug loved to race motorcycles, cars, trucks or anything with 4 wheels. He spent countless hours at the sandhills riding 3-wheelers, odysseys or motorcycles. He also loved spending time at the lake on his boat. Needless to say, Doug lived his life to the fullest.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Nancy, brother Terry, sisters Carrie and Debbie, and parents Kate and Gene Shultz.
He is survived by his wife Cathy, daughter Stephanie and husband James, grandsons Stephen, Ryan, and Wyatt, granddaughter Shelby and great grandson Colter.
