Mr. Douglas E. Smith, 57 years old, formerly of Elsberry, MO died on April 23, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. His family will conduct private services at a late date.
Mr. Smith was a barge mechanic for Ingram Marine Group. He was born in Peoria, IL on March 19, 1968, to the late Larry D and Mary Jane English Smith.
He is survived by his daughter Kelsie Barnes of Moscow Mills, MO, a sister Dennise Green of Milan, a brother Darrell (Jamie) Smith of Greenfield, five grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Jenna Smith.
