Born in Oneida and raised in Rockwood, Doug was a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served during Vietnam. After his discharge, he settled with his young wife in Cleveland. They soon welcomed their son, Timothy, who was the light of his life. Doug retired from Duracell after 35 years. He loved family and making people laugh, road trips in his red truck, fishing, and most of all golf. He enjoyed playing golf with friends and with strangers who soon became friends. He had a zest for life & loved helping others!
Pallbearers will be Blaze Benton, Trace Benton, Brandon Bond, Shelby Bond, Tanner Owensby, Addison West, Jessalee West, & Montgomeree West.
