Doyle Lee Howard

Doyle L. Howard was born on April 29, 1942, in Statesboro, Georgia. He was the son of the late Katherine James Owens and Raymond Lee Howard.
He attended the local schools graduating from Jewett High School in Winter Haven, Florida.
Doyle served four years in the United States Army he received an honorable discharge. He later relocated to Paterson, NJ.
He was affectionately known as The Father of the block of 16th Ave where he lived. He was given the nicknames "the Pizza Man", and "Doy". He also enjoyed Fishing, bowling, and was a devoted fan of the New York Giants.
Doyle was employed by Presto Lock, Tree Tavern Pizza, and Crown Roll Leaf for many years.
On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, Doyle left his earthly home, he departed this life and entered heavenly rest.
His legacy will live on through his devoted wife; Mary E. Howard, his two loving children; Kim B. Howard-Melendez (Julio), of Manville, NJ, and Telma Y. Howard of Paterson, NJ, f ive grandchildren; Kelliesia L. Howard of Cranford, NJ, Leanisa Melendez of Manville, NJ, Andre D. Howard, Deltaisia Stevens, and Jamiya Ramsey, all of Paterson, NJ, three great grandchildren; Andreiah Nicole Howard of Newark, NJ, Cardier Jacobs, and D'yior Jacobs both of Paterson, NJ, three brothers; Oliver Leon Howard of Tallahassee, FL, Willie Anthony Owens Sr., (Betty) of Plant City, FL, and James Christopher Owens (Cynthia) of Winter Haven, FL., special friends; Eardley Young, John Zimmerman, and Ervine Barrentine, and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives, family, and friends.
