Doyle Stansell Obituary
A native of Greenville County; a son of the late Rozelle Edwin and Hazel Rouda Stansell; he was a World War II United States Army Veteran; owner and operator of American Technology Corporation and member of Praise Cathedral Church of God.
Surviving are Dorothy Sumrall, his longtime companion; two sons, Doyle H. "Duke" Stansell, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Greer and Joseph Lee Stansell and his wife Niki of Travelers Rest five grandchildren, Jake Stansell (Christi), Josh Stansell (Shelby Flynn), Logan Earley (David), Madison Berger (Andy) and Austin Stansell (Jordan) and four great-grandchildren, Hazel Earley, Mary Clay Earley, James Duke Stansell and Bennett Berger.
Doyle was predeceased by a son, Jerry M. Stansell and a brother, Harold Dean Stansell.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden and Rev. Bobby Johnson.
A visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at The Wood Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Praise Cathedral Senior Ministry, 3390 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, SC 29650.
