Alan and I had our dental practices across the hall from each other for nearly 40 years. We saw each other every day we worked and he always popped his head in the door to say goodnight. He was a very supportive neighbour with a delightful sense of humour. And I consider him an essential mentor in my career.

Dear Maralyn,
Although our lives took different paths, he is missed. I fondly remember our many conversations as we planned or travelled to dental meetings. Marialena and I send you our warmest wishes and wish you comfort in this difficult time.

I think I waent to CCNY with Alan. If this is the same person, I have many kind memories. We oftwn had 8:00 science classes. Alan had a car and would pick me up at 6:30 so I didn't have to take the train. I send my condolences to his family.
