Dr. Dale E. Enix, age 70, died Sunday August 3rd, 2025 in his home with his fiance, Ginny, by his side. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 4:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia.
Dale was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to Clyde and Gene Enix July 2, 1955 and has two brothers, Dennis Enix and Mark Enix, and one sister, Nancy Bentley. He grew up on a dairy farm in Florida, where he had many fond memories of working hard and getting into mischief with his twin, Dennis.
He attended Central Florida Community College graduating with an Associates of Arts in Business Management in 1976 then attended the University of South Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication in 1980.
Dale's biggest passion has always been photography! He worked as a professional photographer and then found his way to chiropractic school where Dennis was enrolled. Dale attended Logan College of Chiropractic, graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1998. After he graduated he moved to Marietta, GA to be near the love of his life, his daughter Chloe.
Dale worked at several chiropractic offices before deciding to open his own practice after 9/11, Enix Chiropractic Clinic, which later became Cumberland Chiropractic Clinic and then Smyrna Injury Center. As a chiropractor, he helped countless people "Add Years to their Lives and Life to their Years". He specialized in helping people navigate the aftermath of car accidents. He was a member and held several different offices as a part of the Georgia Chiropractic Association. He truly had a passion for helping people and was a gifted chiropractor.
Dale started attending North Metro Church in 2005, where he quickly connected with a supportive church family and friends in his small group. His favorite memories at North Metro where when he was baptized and attending the North Metro Church University classes which grounded his faith in a more real and tangible way and empowered him to testify and share the gospel with anyone that would talk with him. When The Chosen first aired he found the conversation starter he needed. He could OFTEN be heard asking 'Have you seen The Chosen?" and then he'd send you a link or show you the app. He LOVED talking about Jesus!
In 2018, Dale decided to branch out. He and Ginny acquired Comfort Keepers of Marietta, a non-medical home care company. At the clinic, they could help people individually but they wanted to be able to help more people. Dale and his siblings had a caregiver for their parents and he really felt strongly about letting seniors age in place and not be put in facilities. Comfort Keepers of Marietta has allowed them to touch many lives.
Dale became a Granddad in May of 2023 with the birth of his first granddaughter, Evelyn. His second granddaughter, RileyAnn, was born in May and he was able to meet and hold her before he passed. He loved his daughter and granddaughters dearly.
Dale and Ginny had planned to be married on Saturday, August 9th. Although they weren't able to do that they had 6 years together after many years of working together in their shared passion of helping others.
Dale had many and varied hobbies. He LOVED music, movies, hiking, travel, photography, guitars and working in the yard where he grew beautiful roses. He and Ginny loved taking road trips. They always took the long way so Dale could exit the car on back country roads and get out to take pictures of trees or old barns or road side country stores. Ginny loved to take pictures of him taking pictures with his hat on backwards, leaning against a tree checking his shots. If you knew him well, you most likely knew this stance of his, Dale always adopted it when he had his camera out. He will truly be missed by many!
