Dr. Maria Rosario Ayala Badar

Dr. Maria Rosario Ayala Badar, 87, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2025.

Dr. Badar was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Gregorio Fraga Badar, who passed away on January 25, 2011. Together, they built a beautiful family legacy that continues to flourish. She is survived by her five loving children: Melissa Badar Beyfuss (Klaus), Marite Badar Bucina (Paul), Christian Ayala Badar (Laura), Conrad Gregory Badar (Natacha), and Bernadette Badar Ashley (Andy). Dr. Badar was a cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren: Lucas, Liam, Nina, Natalie, Max, Owen, Emmett, Alex, Caden, and Oliver.

Born in Luna, La Union, Philippines, Dr. Badar demonstrated exceptional academic brilliance from an early age, skipping grades both in elementary school and during her university years. She dedicated her life to the practice of internal medicine, serving her community with compassion and expertise throughout her distinguished career.

Throughout her life, Dr. Badar embodied the values of service, family, and dedication. Her impact as a physician touched countless lives, while her role as a mother and grandmother created a lasting legacy of love and wisdom that will be treasured by her family for generations to come.

The showing will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 starting at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Carmel, IN) followed by Mass at 11:00am. Immediately following the mass, the burial service will be held at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery (Indianapolis, IN).
