Age 79, of McMurray on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Doris A. (Parker). Loving father of Megan (Rob) Nielsen and Missy (Ryan) Gilligan. Loving grandfather of Christian & Evan Nielsen and Conor, Aiden & Maggie Gilligan. Dear brother of Dr. James (Beate’) Heslop and Debbie (Late David) Patterson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Dr. Heslop was a pediatrician for over 45 years in the McMurray area. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the best “old school” doctor. Taking care of his patients was his true calling. Family and friends are welcome 3-8 PM, Thursday, May 30, 2024, FREYVOGEL-SLATER FUNERAL DIRECTORS, (412-835-1860) 112 Fort Couch Road, Bethel Park, (opposite Macy’s South Hills Village) Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM, Friday in St. Benedict the Abbott Church, St. John XXIII Parish.
