Drew Nibert

Drew Anthony Ray Nibert, 38, of Salem, passed away at his home on June 12th, 2025. He was born June 26th, 1986, to Freda Nibert and Jerry Byers in Centralia, Illinois.
He worked as a forklift driver, a union laborer, and had his own handyman business. He enjoyed woodworking and fixing things, and he was good at both. His greatest loves were for his children and family.
Drew is survived by his mother: Freda Nibert of Salem; step-mother: Debbie Norman of Salem; three sons: Noah Nibert, Wyatt Nibert, and Liam Nibert; step-daughter: Avery Sauter; three brothers: Shane (Megan) Nibert of Vandalia, Shane (Angie) Byers of Mason, and Jeremy (Crystal) Byers of Farina; six sisters: Melissa (Mark) Pearson of Kinmundy, Bailee Lyday of Salem, Sarah (Stephen) Bryant of Centralia, Tayler Nibert (Cain) of Salem, Reagan Nibert (Cody) of Salem, and McKenzie Nibert (Bradley) of Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his father: Jerry Byers; and stepfathers: Lonnie Byers and John Norman.
A funeral service will be held on Monday June 16th, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Don Wallace and Pastor Dallas Bear officiating. A time of public visitation will be from 11:00 am till the time of service. Interment will follow at the Iola Cemetery.
