Drucilla Bolin Obituary
Funeral services for Drucilla “Drue” Bolin, 97, of Bossier City, Louisiana, will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery, 601 US-80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Officiating the service will be Reverend Lane Moore.
Drucilla was born on February 14, 1926, in Douglass, Texas, and passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Drue loved to cook for her family, especially during the Holidays. We loved her chocolate, coconut, and pecan pies! She was an avid birdwatcher, a longtime member of Waller Baptist Church, and she loved listening to Jim Reeves sing gospel songs.
Drue is preceded in death by her husband, John M Bolin. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, daughters; Sherry Curry and husband, Jim, and Vicky Bolin; son, Scott Bolin; four grandchildren, Logan, Rachel, Ryan, and Courtney; and one great-grandchild, Rowan.
The family would like to express special thanks to the special caregivers, Shirley Ashley, Kim Maiden, and Judy Harris who all took such great care of Drue.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Airline Baptist Church, 4007 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana 71111 or any charity of your choosing.
