Drusilla A. Clyde

Struthers - Funeral services will be on Monday December 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Drusilla, Clyde, 77, who passed away on Friday morning December 19, 2025. Dru was born September 16, 1948 in New Melle, Missouri, a daughter of Vincent Karrenbrock and Eileen (Gerdeman). Her family in Missouri always referred to her as Sissy. She came to this area as a young lady and was a hard worker. She worked at GM Lordstown for a while and then eventually took a job in the Struthers School System for 41 years as a cook and later became the cafeteria manager. While working for the schools she would also waitress at The MVR Club. She loved working and being around people. For a short time Dru attended the Struthers Parkside Church in Struthers, OH. When not working she enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, putting together puzzles, and sewing. One of her favorite places to go was Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio. Her biggest joy though was spoiling her 5 grandchildren, and boy did she ever. Dru married James Richard Clyde on November 27, 1971 and they were married for 52 years. He passed away on, October 22, 2024. She leaves one son Brad (Carrie) Clyde of Struthers and one daughter Lena (Bruce) Holloway of Niles, OH; one brother Roger (Janet) Karrenbrock of New Melle, Missouri and one sister Vivian Allison of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, Brady and Mia Clyde, Jake, JD and Jessica Holloway; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dru was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Kenny Karrenbrock, and two sisters Lena Karrenbrock and Janet Karrenbrock. Friends may call one and a half hours before the service at the funeral home on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.
