Sissy and I grew up together in New Melle. The first time I ever went trick or treating, Sissy invited me to go with her. She invited me to tag along on Sundays when her family visited her grandmother in Wentzville, we'd walk down to the movie theater and watch a show. We went to Washington, MO shopping for our confirmation dresses. Sissy's family always welcomed me into their home anytime Sissy invited me over. Although we lost touch over the years, I thought of her often and am sadden to hear of her passing. Attached is our confirmation picture, I am on the far left standing next to Sissy. We were about fourteen at the time.
