Duane Alan Bohnett, 65 years old, passed away on December 23, 2022. A private family service has been held. In life, Duane cared deeply for all who surrounded him and had a passion for leaving things better than he found them. After retiring from General Motors in 2006, Duane spent his days as Mr. Fix It for all his friends and family, whether tinkering with motors to repair for a buddy, plowing neighbor's driveways, mowing lawns, or just cleaning up litter off the roads in the neighborhood. "Rest" was not a word that frequented Duane's vocabulary and he thoroughly enjoyed service to others.
Duane's true pride and joy was his family – he loved his children and grandchildren more than anything
in this world and made sure that he showed in everything that he did.
Those preceding Duane's passing, his father, Burton Shurm Bohnett and his brother, Daniel Lee Bohnett.
Duane is survived by his mother, Mary Arlene Bohnett, sister, Robin Ann Wiswasser, Son, Dustin Alan
Bohnett, Daughter-in-law Jessica Bohnett, Daughter, Mallory Bohnett, Son-in-Law, Stephen Hall and
grandchildren, Joshua, Jenna, Jamie, Jordan, Keaton, Khloe and Kaiden.
The family is being served by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Laingsburg Chapel. Online condolences may be shared at www.WatkinsFuneralHomes.com

So sorry to hear of Duane's passing. He was a big part of my life growing up starting in kindergarten to graduation. Loved his smile and his goofy antics with Barry Stewart. Prayers to the Bohnett family. RIP Duane!
