Duane O. Ciske

Duane O. Ciske, some called him DOC, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 17th, 2023. He was a man with many talents. As a mechanic he met his wife Cheryl, and they were married for 50 years. Their love is everlasting and brought them 7 kids, 17 grandkids, and 3 great grandchildren. If he wasn't providing for his family by running the shop for Chicago Northwestern Railroad or later starting a business, which was his passion in carpentry, he could be found hanging with family and friends. From Thirsty Thursdays, hanging in the shop with the boys, campfires, and Packer games. He truly loved spending time with people. Duane had a passion for history and astronomy, but was also strong in his faith and rests in peace in Heaven. We believe he is continuing his passion of carpentry building our houses for when we meet again.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, children: Tom, Shelly (Scott), Angie, Bill, Elizabeth (Chris), Patti (Steve), and Ricky. His grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Dad, you fought hard and lived strong. We love you so much! Special thank you to Froedert, St. Agnes and SSM Hospice for all the love and care.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A time of remembrance will take place at 4:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
