Duane Leroy Condit, 67, was born December 21, 1957, in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Norman Condit and Wilma Sullins Condit. He passed away July 14, 2025, near Perry, Oklahoma. Dighton-Marler Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Duane grew up in the Red Rock and Perry communities and was a 1977 graduate of Perry High School. He was employed as a welder at Charles Machine Works and formerly at R. L. Frailey.

He enjoyed doing carpentry work and mowing, keeping his yard looking nice. He loved deer hunting and fishing. He was a big Oklahoma State University fan and especially enjoyed OSU football.

He is the father of a daughter, Kimberly Ross, and her husband Derek; and stepdaughter, Cassie Graham.

In addition to his daughter and son-in-law and stepdaughter, Duane is survived by sisters: Carol Condit, Perry, Oklahoma, and Cynthia Condit, Springdale, Arkansas; and grandchildren: Payton Schovanec, Easton Ross and Hunter Ross.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Randy Condit and Ricky Condit and one sister, Vicky Lockwood.

A visitation has been scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Perry. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry.

Memorials may be made in his honor by making checks to the American Heart Association, in care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, P. O. Box 189, Perry, Oklahoma, Condolences may be made to the family via and online website at www.dightonmarler.com.
