Memories

He was loved by many. He will never be forgotten.

We met in a way that felt written long before we understood it. Our connection was deep, challenging, and profoundly transformative—one that changed who I am and how I love. I just learned of Duane’s passing this evening and was so saddened by the loss of this sensitive and compassionate person. I had the pleasure of exhibiting Duane’s paintings when I owned Gallery Neptune in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. Such sweet memories of this gentle man, I am grateful to have known him.

He was a true friend and will never be forgotten

I just found out about Duane and feel very sad. Duane's grandmother, Lola Cregger, was my
Dad's niece so Duane was a cousin. I did not know him well but he was a sweet, kind, loving soul.
He had such love for his grandmother and she spoke of him often as being very special.
Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

I just seen this obituary and my heart is broken. Duane will always be remembered as one of the kindest souls I have ever known. My heart goes out to Pat, Jody and the family and I am sending love, hugs and prayers. We will never forget him.
