Duane A. Morse, 79, of Little Falls, New York passed away peacefully on April 23, 2024, surrounded by his beloved children, after a brief illness.
Born on December 16, 1944, in Little Falls to the late Earl and Marie (Sargent) Morse, Duane was educated in Little Falls schools and served in the U.S. Army.
Duane was a fun-loving, "Wild & Crazy guy", with a quick smile and friendly nature which he maintained even in his difficult final moments. He found great joy in a quiet country life with a special fondness for the Adirondacks. He was a car enthusiast, especially classic cars, which he shared with his son Eric.
Duane will be greatly missed by his three children, Scott (Valerie) Morse of Hephzibah GA, Diane (William) Schuyler of Lititz PA and Eric Morse of Little Falls; his seven treasured grandchildren, Taylor, Anthony, Gabriel, Madeline, Brandon, Maria and Erica; as well as his six great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by brothers, Robert Morse and Richard Morse. In addition to his parents, Duane was predeceased by his siblings, Mary Louise Keyser, David Morse, Shirley Burnett, Wanda Barton and Frank Morse.
Duane's children would like to express their gratitude to his caregivers at Bassett Medical Center and St. Camillus. He is now with the angels.as he likes to say. "Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise."
Services were private at the convenience of the family.
