Duane D. Wheeler

Duane D. Wheeler, 52, passed away on December 18, 2022 in Scottsdale Arizona. He was the husband of Barbara Wheeler. They shared 18 years of marriage together.
Duane was born in Portland, Oregon and he was the son of Paul Wheeler and Dorothy Guirney. He graduated from Oregon State University. He was an employee of Insight for 17 years where he was a Senior Architect Network/Security.
He loved being around nature, gardening, and cooking. He was passionate about learning new things and he loved talking to people and learning all about them. He was an extremely hard worker who always put his family first.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara. His son, Jack Wheeler, and his daughter, Kate Wheeler. He is predeceased by his father, Paul Wheeler, and his mother Dorothy Guirney.
Services and internment will be held on December 30, 2022 at Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery located at 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85254. The visitation will be from 11 to noon and services will begin at noon.
