Christy Marie Keith, age 39, a vibrant and spirited soul, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 8, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August 29, 1986, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to parents Larry Keith and Phyllis Cox. Though she was taken from this world too soon, her legacy of color and joy continues to illuminate the lives of those she loved.

Christy's early years were spent in the loving care of her grandparents, Mildred and Ray Cox, who raised her in Haskell, Oklahoma, after she lost her beloved mother, in 2003. Christy was a social butterfly whose laughter and energy filled every room. Always on the go, she roamed from home to home visiting her family and friends. Her friends will remember the countless hours spent enjoying her company, listening to music, and discussing every topic under the sun. Christy's passion was coloring and drawing. She collected colored pens as treasures that reflected a limitless creativity that knew no bounds.

Her family, a cornerstone of her life, knew her as more than her struggles—they saw Christy's true essence, her generous nature, and her love that knew no bounds. Surviving her are her father, Larry Keith; her grandfather, Ray Cox; her uncle and aunt, Curtis and Margaret Cox; her cousins, Callie Cole and husband Josh, Joseph Casner, James Cox and wife Brianna, Daniel Vogt, and Amber Ore; and a host of nieces and nephews. Christy was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Keith, her grandmother, Mildred Cox, and her aunt, Sharon Ore.

The vast network of friends and extended family that Christy drew around her will forever hold memories of a woman who could not be easily forgotten, a radiant force of unyielding spirit and enthusiasm. She walked through life with a rare kind of openness to the world and people she loved so dearly.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Christy will be held at 10 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma.
