Dudley William Werschkul passed away December 30, 2025, at his home in Woodburn, Oregon at the age of 94. He was born August 24th, 1931, and was a lifelong resident of the Portland Metropolitan area. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and after serving 3 years during the Korean war, was honorably discharged as a Sergeant First Class.

Dudley worked in the telephone industry, and in 1963, he met the love of his life Kathy through mutual friends at a bowling alley. They married in 1964 and 5 years later added their daughter Lisa to their family.

Following retirement, Dudley chose to start a new career in real estate. He and Kathy were also actively involved in Tualatin Kiwanis. Both served as officers multiple times during their time with the organization.

His survivors include his wife Kathy, daughter Lisa, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved the fun and mischievous uncle. He was known to always get them giggling with being a climbing object for them and for the "I got you, you can't ever get away" game he always played with them. He had a twinkle in his eyes always and jokes and laughter were just an integral part of him.

His entire family loved him dearly.

Remembrances to Mount Hood Kiwanis Camp, 10725 SW Barbur Blvd Ste 50, Portland, OR 97219.
