Dulcie Hill Dean, age 76, died on August 3, 2014. She was a 1955 graduate of Travis High School and retired after 34 years with the State Board of Control/General Services Commission. She was preceded in death by mother, Dorothy B. Hill; sister, Dorinda Hill; brothers, Elbert Hill and Lemuel Hill; son, James Allen Dean. She is survived by her grandchildren, Michael Dean, Jason Dean, Carrie Smith, Brian Smith, and Kenneth Miller; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home on South Congress on Tuesday, August 5 from 6-8 pm followed by Graveside Service at Greenwood Cemetary on Wednesday, August 6 at 11am. Dulcie was a kind, generous person, and our lives are surely diminished with her passing.

Well I knew the name for sure...once I opened the Obituary...well of course, the picture and GSC. I spent many a day (Years) on the phone or in meetings with Dulcie, as I was Director/Manager of Purchasing and more for another state entity for years. What a fine lady and definitely she will be missed. Love and prayers to her family
