Dulcineo Pacheco

Dulcineo "Desi" Pacheco, 73, of Walsenburg, passed away at his home Friday, September 6, 2024. Desi was born March 5, 1951, to Moises and Della Pacheco and was the youngest of 21 children. Desi is preceded in death by his daughter Valerie in 2019, his parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He is survived by his Fiance' Sheryl Montana Pineda, three granddaughters, Candra, Breanna, Aucensia Pacheco, and three great grandchildren, Alex, Raela and Luciano of Pueblo, his brothers Steve (Susie) Pacheco, Denver, Anthony (Rose) Pacheco, Walsenburg, his sister Alice Pinedo, Pueblo, sister-in-law Illa Trujillo, Walsenburg, extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He's also survived by Sheryl's family, his in-laws the Montana's, brothers, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nephews, great niece, all of whom he adored. Special cousins, special friends, Tim (Julee) Vigil and family, Robert Allgire, Randy (Susie) Martinez. Desi was very well known and was very friendly and outgoing. It was always easy for him to make a friend or make a stranger laugh. Always ready to participate, tell a joke, tell a story or just be the life of the party. He had a smile that would make anyone's day and melt Sheryl's heart. He always had a great personality. He enjoyed sitting out on his porch visiting with family, friends and neighbors enjoying his morning coffee or an evening beer with his cigarette. He loved watching movies, his game shows and of course the Denver Broncos. He enjoyed spending time with the love of his life Sheryl, their rides to the lake, the mountains, trips out of town, going out to dinner and just spending quality time together. He loved his music and he loved to dance, which they did a lot of. Desi worked various jobs, his last job being Acorn Petroleum. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of many.
