"Papa"
Duncan Albert Manning, lovingly known as "Papa," passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 91 in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
He proudly served in the United States Army as an H-21C Helicopter AAMATP Mechanic. His dedication to his work continued throughout his life, including his involvement with VIP Rubber in Anaheim, California, and as the owner of HiTower Concrete Pumping and HiTower Gypsum Floors.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Anna Elizabeth Manning and Bertie Manning; his parents, Harvey and Tallie (Roscoe) Manning; three sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane (Larry) Kyzar of Flora; and his sons, Rick (Val) Manning of Horn Lake; Michael Manning (Tamme Wallis) of Horn Lake; and Anthony "Tony" Manning of Horn Lake. Sister Patricia Langley, Arkansas, Twin Brothers Larry and Jerry (Sandy) Manning of Florida. Along with many niece's, nephew's and friends.
Papa leaves behind grandchildren Marshal "Chase" (Crystal) Kyzar of Florida; Renee (Brian) Weaver of Madison; Joshua Manning of Horn Lake; Jessica (Stephen) Durrett of Horn Lake; Casey Manning of Horn Lake; and Marie Manning of Horn Lake.
He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Ava Rose and Hazel Claire Weaver; Greylin and Alyssia Kyzar; Adin Manning; and Lena and Luna Manning.
His love for family, steady work ethic, and proud service to his country will be cherished and remembered by all.
