Dustin Wayne Herndon, 31, of Cave City passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023. He was born on June 8, 1991 in Batesville, AR to Brent and Dianne Herndon. He was an operator for Trash Truckin'. Dustin enjoyed time spent with his family. He also enjoyed music, cars, technology, and shopping.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glenn Herndon and Ellis Dean Brewer; his grandmother, Jacquelyn Herndon; one uncle, Eddie Herndon and one aunt, Judy Nelson.
Survivors include his parents, Brent and Dianne Herndon of Cave City; his sister, Shayla Herndon of Cave City; his brother, Shannon Herndon and wife Amanda of Missouri; his grandparents, Ron and Connie Watkins of Pfeiffer; his partner, Jerry Rose of Batesville; his aunt and uncle, Karen and Brian Stagg of Louisiana; his aunt and uncle, Tony and Sharon Herndon of Cave City; two nieces, Katy Herndon and Desaray Herndon; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cave City with John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Steven Green, Mark Smith, Ryan Herndon, Aaron Herndon, Austin Davis and Matt Melton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richie Rose and Josh Stewart.
