Dustin Dale Lindsey, 62, of Terril, IA, passed away on November 12, 2025, at Spencer Hospital in Spencer, IA.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake, IA, with a prayer service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Online condolences may be left at www.spiritlakefuneralhome.com.
Dustin was born on November 11, 1963, to Donald and Connie (Bush) Lindsey in Spirit Lake, IA. He graduated from Spirit Lake High School. Dustin met Jeri while traveling through Denver, Colorado and they married on July 11, 1986. They had 3 children and built a life centered around family, faith, and hard work. Throughout his life, he took great pride in his work as a cattleman, caring for and raising livestock. Dustin's passion for livestock was evident in everything he did starting with spending family vacations showing cattle hauling, show strings to many states. He especially enjoyed mentoring local 4-H youth, sharing his knowledge of livestock care, and helping them prepare their animals for shows and fairs.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jeri of Terril, IA; their children: Nicole Lindsey of Des Moines, IA, Amanda (Lucas) Vangsness of Leonard, ND, and Zach (Rachel) Lindsey of Estherville, IA; his grandchildren: Anna, Remi, and Tucker; his mother, Connie of Lake Park, IA; siblings: Robin (Dana) Johnson of Nebraska, Jay Lindsey of Texas, Shane Lindsey of Iowa, and Lon Lindsey of Iowa; and his sister-in-law, Jodi Lindsey of Iowa. And extended family and friends.
Dustin was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lindsey, and his grandparents.
Dustin's legacy of love, hard work, and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by all.
