Patricia Ann Christiansen, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7 with her loving husband by her side. She was born to Frank and Anna Wagner in Worthington, MN on February 24, 1938. She attended Central High School in Sioux City, IA where she met the love of her life Gene Christiansen. They were married in 1956 and quickly started their life in the Navy, living in places like Guam, Cypress, Germany, Okinawa, Alaska, and Maine. They had three children, Skip, Vicky and Robert. Pat enjoyed gardening, entertaining, sewing, playing bingo and card games. She especially loved spending time with her family. She had a fun-loving, welcoming, and generous heart which drew you to her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a strong relationship with God and her faith was unwavering. She cherished her family more than anything and lived life to the fullest..
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bud and Sonny, her sisters, Girlie and Phyllis and her daughter in law Lisa. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Gene, children Skip Christiansen (Lisa), Vicky Christiansen, Robert Christiansen (Trisha), her five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her sister Nancy and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are provided by Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake, IA.
