Dustin Moore, 44 of Pana, Illinois died Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:40 PM at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Illinois. Funeral Services for Dustin will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Kennedy & Sons Funeral Home in Pana. Visitation will also be Friday, November 29, 2024 at Kennedy & Sons beginning at 9:00 AM until time of Service. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana Township, Illinois.
Dustin Michael Moore was born April 1, 1980 the Son of Kent and Cindy Taylor. Dustin lived in Pana his entire life. He enjoyed life to the fullest, including carpentry, shade tree mechanics, and football, especially the Chicago Bears. His family was the most important to him, and he enjoyed cooking for others and never shied away from a compliment. He loved a good game of horseshoes, camping, and trips to the Current River. He was the captain of his own ship and enjoyed colorful storytelling around a fire. "Handsome was never the hard part."
Dustin is survived by his Daughter: Kinley Moore; his Parents: Kent and Cindy Taylor; his Siblings: Derek Moore, Julia (David) Chernisky, and Lexie (Matthew) Mosely; his Granny: Linda Trelz; Nephew and Nieces: William Chernisky, Adriana Moore, Wren Chernisky, Parker Mosely, and baby Mosely; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Grandpa: Richard Trelz and Biological Father: Mike Moore.
