Dustin Perrin, 32, of Summit, MS passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at his residence in Summit, MS. He was born Monday, August 31, 1992 in Metairie, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1:30 P M until services at 2:00 P M at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Michael McCue and Max McCue; sister, Joelle McCue and grandfather, Robert Hebert.

Survivors include his daughter, Melody Perrin; father, Robert McCue; mother, Wanda Perrin Hebert (Shane) of Summit, MS; sister, Kortney Hebert Whann (Ashton); step-mother, Susie Meade; grandfather, Steve Perrin (Sarah); grandmothers, Oma Perrin, Marion Hebert and Carolyn McCue.

Dustin was courageous, principled, and bold; loved people so much that the ways of the world grieved him. He gifted us with a wonderful young lady, Melody, whom he was a wonderful father to. Patient, loving, strong and making sure all her needs were met. His daughter was his life. He loved to share his joys of dreaming, music, nerd-out sessions, and Sonic the Hedgehog with her and everyone else he knew. I don't think he ever met a stranger. He longed for peace and harmony for himself and the world at large, a voice in the wilderness.

But his adventure has come to an end and we will miss his uncontrollable laugh. We will miss family game nights and his mind stimulating conversations that were just beyond our grasp of understanding. Keep building castles in the sky, Dustin. We miss you deeply.
