Dustin W. Stansell, 41, of the Rock Creek Community, Calhoun, departed this life on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Dustin was born in Rome, Georgia, on September 16, 1983, the son of Dewayne Stansell and Jennifer Bennett Stansell. Dustin was a member of Haven of Rest Baptist Church; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his girls on the 4-wheeler, and sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a HVAC Technician at Turner Heating & Air Conditioning.
Survivors include his wife, Erica Sosebee Stansell; four daughters, Jayra Stansell, Annalyn Stansell, Emerie Stansell, and Omie Stansell; father, Dewayne Stansell; mother, Jennifer Bennett Stansell; grandmother, Sandra Southern; sister, Brittany Koehler and her husband Jason; brother, Bradley Bennett; and other relatives.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from Haven of Rest Baptist Church, 3851 Rome Road SW, Calhoun, Georgia 30701, with Pastor Jason Fuller and Rev. Shane Hibberts officiating. Burial will follow at West Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Dewayne Stansell, Bradley Bennett, Nolan Bennett, Shane Hibberts, Jake Sheriff, and Kyle Burnett. Honorary pallbearers are Marshall York and Gary Sheriff.
The family will receive friends at Haven of Rest Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, which is 2:00 p.m.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to Haven of Rest Baptist Church, 259 David Lake Rd SW, Calhoun, Georgia 30701, in Dustin’s memory.
