Dustin Allen Thomas

Thomas, Dustin Allen, age 26 of Tellico Plains went to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Dustin's joys in life were trout fishing with his brothers on Citico Creek and following in his dad's footsteps by driving a truck. He was a fun-loving person to all who truly knew him. Dustin is survived by his mother, Gaila Bivens Thomas; brothers, Keith Thomas, of Madisonville and Dalton Thomas of Tellico Plains; grandma, Gloria Bivens, Tellico Plains; aunts, Cindy Ogle and Brinda Shaw of Vonore; uncle and aunt, Rodney and Kim Bivens of Sweetwater; niece, Hallie Thomas, and nephews, Diesel and Coleman Thomas; several cousins, great aunts and great uncles; girlfriend, Jamie Elliott, of Jacksonville, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Berry Allen Thomas; grandparents, Harold and Gayle Thomas; papaw James Barron Bivens, and mamaw, Diana Lynn Bivens; uncles, Greg Ogle and James Darron Bivens; aunts, Donna K. Thomas and Sheila Diana Bivens. The family will receive friends Friday, January 24, 2025, from 5 to 7 pm. The funeral service will follow in Biereley-Hale Chapel, Tellico Plains, TN. Rev. Samuel Hollingshead will officiate. Family and friends will gather 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home to line up for the procession to the cemetery at Ball Play Gospel Tabernacle Independent Church of God.
