Dustin Workman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah on Mar. 28, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dustin Lee Workman, age 39, of Tomah, WI on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Dustin, affectionately known as "Dusty", was a loving son, brother, nephew and uncle. He graduated from Tomah High School in 2004 and remained active in sports throughout. Dustin attended UW-Stevens Point for a period after high school before eventually establishing a career at Ocean Spray in Tomah, WI. Dustin was a well-loved and respected colleague, receiving several recognitions during his time there for his dedication and hard work. He was known for his dry sense of humor and quick wit (especially one-liners), always making his friends and family laugh. He had a calm and easy-going demeanor that will be missed by those that knew and loved him. Dustin didn't miss a holiday or birthday celebration with his family, memories that his family will forever be grateful for. He was a caring and proud uncle, always up for a wrestling match or a nerf football game. Having been born in Ohio, Dustin remained an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Dustin is survived by his loving mother, Tammy Blanchard; brothers, Shane (Melissa) Workman and Nicholas (Brandi) Workman; nephews, Grant and Landon; nieces, Kallie and Hazel; aunt, Sherrie Waugh; grandmothers, Sandy Waugh and Marlene Workman; aunt, Kim (Tom) Boyer and family; uncle, Waide (Shelly) Workman and family; Cindy Workman and Rob Workman along with their families; and many other relatives and friends.
Dustin is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Workman; grandfather, Robert Workman; grandmother, Betty Waugh; grandfather, Kenny Waugh; and stepfather, Bill Blanchard.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that the love and light that Dustin brought into our lives will remain with us always. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 11:30 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday. The Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements.
