He was born on October 4, 1998, and was the son of Kenny and Jamie Wright. Dustin's favorite pastime was hunting with his dad and riding horses at ATRC. In addition to his parents, Dustin is survived by his sister, Ashlyn Tehandon (Dakota); niece, Raelynn Tehandon; nephew, Bowen Tehandon; and his grandparents: Danny and Janice Wright, and Ronnie and Nan Proffitt.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Burnsville, NC. Bro. Jimbo Seaton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Appalachian Therapeutic Riding Center at: 176 Chimney Ridge Burnsville, NC 28714 and Madison Hospice at: 590 Medical Park Dr., Marshall, NC 28753.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Paige Gibbs and the staff at Madison Hospice and Dr. Jeff Polgar, and the staff at Mountain Medical Arts, and his caregiver for many years, Haley Griggs.
