Dusty James Davies, age 47, passed away November 30th, 2024 at his home in Chariton, Iowa. Dusty was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Linda (Davies) Cowen. Dusty graduated from Chariton Community High School in 1995. He went on to get his associate degree from Indian Hills.
On October 2, 2004, He was united in marriage to Cortney Davis in Malcom, Iowa. This year they celebrated their 20 year anniversary. To this union two daughters were born, Heaven and Isabella. Courtney remembers the love he had for her and his family. He enjoyed spending time, traveling and going to concerts with them. Dusty was always there for his family and friends if they needed anything.
Dusty had worked as a welder for Kinze Manufacturing in Williamsburg, Iowa. Dusty was a natural at taking something broken and reinventing it into something useful or beautiful. He loved creating new things. He was extremely selfless.
Dusty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Velta Davies and Step-dad, Larry Holmes.
Dusty is survived by his mother Linda (Davies) Cowen, his wife, Cortney Davies, his daughters, Isabella Davies and Heaven Lorenz, his sisters, Stacy Watt,, Colette Klier and Jodi McBeth. Dusty touched the lives of so many of his friends and family. He will be missed by so many and missed beyond words.
