Johnny DuWayne White, age 69, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born December 4, 1956, in Columbus, to the late William and Clara (Berry) White. DuWayne attended Amanda Schools and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed and loved his fur babies (his cats), Toby and Phoebe. DuWayne was a very quiet man and he enjoyed watching the History Channel and the Science Channel.
He is survived by his sons, Jeremy and Hunter White; three grandchildren; sister, Connie (Paul) Karl, of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Nancy DePugh, of Mt. Sterling. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, William "Tony" White.
At his request, no formal service will be observed. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral & Cremation Service, Amanda.
DuWayne's family is especially thankful to his best friends, Tim Cook and Seth Wallace for all of their care and support over the past seven years.
