Dwayne Albritton was born on September 2, 1961 in Paterson, NJ to Greene and Doreatha Albritton. He attended P.S. #10, Passaic County Tech and Eastside High school. He was a lifelong resident of Paterson. He worked a number of years for RCA Cola and Color Optics. Dwayne loved listening to old R&B and Gospel music. He also loved playing video games with his nephews. All of his friends and family knew Dwayne as the "go to guy" if you needed help with anything at all. He really enjoyed helping people. Dwayne was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle (Smith), his parents, Greene and Doreatha Albritton, his brother, Brian, maternal grandparents, Hazel and Rosalee Hickman, maternal step-grandmother, Eva Hickman, paternal grandparents, Owen and Eula (Curry) Albritton, an aunt, Carrie Wise (Hickman) and two uncles, William and Lucious Albritton. He leaves to mourn: his daughter, Jalisa Albritton, a son, Eddie Goodwin, an adopted son, Iz'Jahmier McNeal; three grandsons, Mekhi Albritton, Justin and Jamari Goodwin; two sisters, Rosalind Albritton Hicks and Carol Albritton; three brothers, Anthony, Gregory, and Gerald Albritton; six aunts, Eula Thomas, Elizabeth Perry, Cora Banks, Lula Anderson, and Sarah Albritton of GA, Rosa Albritton of New Jersey; four uncles, Nelson Wise of Paterson, Vaughn Hickman of Boston MA, Rev. John Hickman of GA, and Oscar Albritton of NC; three nephews, two nieces, one grandniece, a devoted cousin, Mark Hickman, lifelong friends, Ed Jones, Conrad Giggetts, and Patrick Kelly; devoted friend, Gina Evans and special friend, Inez Worthy; and a host of other family and friends.
