Dwayne Julian Jones was a humorous, hard-working soul who was born to Mr. Charles Jones, and Mrs. Mamie Hamilton-Jones on June 3, 1980, in Trenton, New Jersey. He was the youngest of two children, and was adored by his Nephew, Adonis. He, and his nephew, loved having philosophical conversations regarding everyday life occurrences. In addition, he and his family enjoyed watching numerous weekly sporting events.
In his early years, he graduated from McCorristin Catholic High School, and shortly thereafter, he attended Burlington County Community College, and Pennco Technical School in Bristol, Pennsylvania, obtaining his certification as an automotive engineer. This certification afforded him the opportunity to land his ideal occupation working as an engineer at Petro Travel Center in Bordentown, New Jersey.
While Dwayne enjoyed working as an engineer, he listened intensely about his ancestors and their love of Christ from his mother. Similar to those same ancestors, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at Friendship Baptist Church, in Trenton, New Jersey, by the late Rev. Dr. Willie J. Sanders, at the age of seven.
Many of those ancestors that he heard about are now rejoicing with him in the spiritual realm. He is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Ms. Lucille Jones; and maternal grandparents Reverend Lon, Sr. and Agnes Hamilton.
One last and glorious fact about Dwayne Julian Jones is that God called him to His heavenly home on December 21, 2023. He summoned his Archangels to bring this lovely soul home. He leaves to cherish his loving and humorous memories: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Mamie Hamilton-Jones; his brother, Derrick, and his nephew Adonis and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and a best friend, Richard Dixon.
