Dwayne George Moiles, 82, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away at home on October 31, 2021.
Dwayne was born on February 14, 1939, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Edward and Hannah (Johnstone) Moiles. Dwane was a graduate of Sault High School. He served for many years in the National Guard. On October 10, 1970, he married Anna Jean "Jeannie" Jacques in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Dwayne was a member of the Elks Lodge #558. He enjoyed keeping track of the news, and driving around to visit friends and family. He loved reading James Patterson and John Grisham.
Dwayne is survived by his stepchildren: Debra A. Leigh and Joseph M. Cottelit both of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; three grandchildren: James (Shayla) Leigh, Tim Leigh, and Janae (Kody) Gough; and one great-grandchild: Dylan J. Leigh. Dwayne is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: William and Edward Moiles: and three sisters: Ethel Schelke, Eleanor Sayer, and Eunice Bergstrom.
A brief sharing servivce will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 5, 2021, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home. Friends may gather at the funeral home starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Donaldson Cemetery.
