Dwayne Prescott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bell's Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Lauderdale Lakes on Jul. 20, 2022.
Dwayne A. Prescott was born on October 17, 1959 to the Late Rosa Mae Prescott and Aaron Walker.
He was a fighter, an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and Man of God. He loved
his family, including his Memorial/ Joe DiMaggio Hospital family. He loved his job as a CT technologist.
He also enjoyed bike riding, working out, growing pineapples, taking care of his lawn, and technology.
His firm belief in God sustained him during his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. On July 16, 2022,
Dwayne received his call for an appointment, an offer he could not refuse, from which he would not be
returning. This assignment came with a huge bonus - a reunion with family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Sandra; their four sons, Dwayne II
(Jarnento- fiancee), Roderick, Milton (Ayesha), and Terrance; one sister, Tina (Steve) of Macon, GA, two
brothers, Darrell (Carol) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Larry (Ruby) of Phoenix, AZ; 15 grandchildren –
Danaya, Dwayne III, Marquis, Destinee, De Marie, Roderick Jr., Harmony, Serenity, Martavius,
Corinthian, Milton III, Maleah, Noel, Isaiah and Bailey; two goddaughters – Sapora and Shantel; a special
aunt and uncle, Joyce and Percy; the world's most loving, supportive and dedicated servants of God of
the Willie C. Frazier Outreach Ministry formerly known Youth for Christ under the leadership of Pastor D.
Frazier; and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in
death by three of his brothers, Benny, Edward and Tommy.
Remember that every ending has a new beginning, and two of the hardest things in life are 'hello' for
the first time and 'goodbye' for the last.
