Dwight Douglas Braley

Dwight Douglas Braley, age 78, of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of Phyllis Jean Brown Braley, whom he married on January 16, 1980. Born May 18, 1947 in Stanford Kentucky. He was the son of the late John Daniel and Mary Margaret Brown Braley. He was a retired carpenter as was a perfectionist in any phase of the construction process.
He loved and cherished his children and grandchildren, along with his beloved wife, Phyllis.
He enjoyed working on old cars, going hunting and fishing and watching UK basketball games. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. When he was younger, he loved water skiing.
Survivors include:
Beloved Wife of 45 years, Phyllis Jean Brown Braley
Two sons,
Christopher Dwight Braley, and wife, Luann.
Clinton Ray Middleton and wife, Michelle.
Five grandchildren, Brian, Ben and Trinity Braley, Destiny and Tyler Middleton.
One bother, Danny Braley and wife, Margaret.
In addition to his parents, John Daniel & Margie Brown Braley, he was proceeded in death by a son, Brian Braley, and a daughter, Trinity Braley along with two brothers Forrest Dwayne Braley and Edwin Braley.
Funeral arrangements are pending at McKnight Funeral Home and will be announced at a later date and time.
