Dwight G. Walls, 81, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, went home to be with his Savior on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, following an extended illness.
Born on April 23, 1944, Dwight was the son of the late Dwight A. and Dona (McAdams) Walls. For the majority of his professional life, he worked as a machinist.
Dwight was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Davis) Walls; his children, Melanie (Walls) Dahn (Rob) of Columbus, OH; Ken (Jill) Walls of Celina, TX; and Doug Walls (fiancée, Veronica Ridenour) of Hilliard, OH; and his stepdaughter, Teresa (Ross) Hackathorn of Delaware, OH.
He is also survived by his six brothers: Ron of East Liberty, OH; Harold of the Philippines; Keith (Bev) of Zanesfield, OH; Donn of Yellow Springs, OH; Dennis (Sharon) of Marysville, OH; and Ramon (Leslie) of Lewis Center, OH; as well as eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church on Saturday, April 25, at 1 p.m. to honor his memory and his faith.
