Larry A. Pearson

Larry Allen Pearson, 66, of West Liberty, went to be home with Jesus at 6:07 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 10, 1960, to the late Julius "Abe" and Virginia L. (Wurster) Pearson.

On August 24, 2002, he married Deena (Hess) Pearson and she survives.

Larry is also survived by his daughter, Abigail (fiancé', RJ McGowen) Pearson; granddaughter, Indy James McGowen; twin sister, Lorry Mellen; sister, Julia (Bill) Armstrong; best buddy Dennis Hess; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Pearson.

Larry loved gardening, canning, fishing, country music, his cowboy hat, the bible, and the lord. He worked construction all his life and was very talented at woodworking and art. He lived life on his own terms & his spirit will live on in the quiet, open spaces he loved.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center. 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th at the funeral home.
