Jeffrey Alan Pearson passed away on February 25, 2026 in Zumbrota, MN.
He was born on July 20, 1959 in Rochester, MN to Gene and Lorraine Pearson. Jeff graduated from Mayo High School in 1977. He did various jobs at the Holiday Inn South in Rochester before going into construction until he retired in 2018. Jeff took pride in being a carpenter, and using his skills to help people live in comfortable, beautiful homes.
Jeff married Terry Pearson on October 19, 1985 and they later divorced.
He enjoyed road trips and wilderness adventures, often camping, hunting, boating and four-wheeling with loved ones. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area was his favorite place to bond with family and friends.
Jeff was always ready to help in any way he could. He loved fully with his enormous, grumpy heart. The warmth and love he spread will live on with us.
Jeff is survived by significant other Marlys Steen; children Patrick (Kerry) Stevens, Matt (Melissa) Pearson and Amanda (Raghu) Pearson; grandchildren Brendon, Bryn, Parker, and Grant; sisters Debbie Pearson, Janice (Rick) Kingsley.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gene Pearson and Lorraine Pearson, and sister Linda Pearson.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens at a later date.
