Dyan Grabbs, 62, of Winona, Texas went to her forever home and to be with her Lord and savior July 23, 2023 at 6:40 a.m. where her husband Michael Grabbs and father Ramon Jamison welcomed her with open arms along with many others.
Dyan was born October 8, 1960 in Shelby County to Ramon Jamison and Rani Fleming Jamison and was eagerly welcomed by her big sister Kim Jamison. 7 years later would come the baby brother Al.
At the age of 20 Dyan worked at the radio station in Center, Texas and had her first child Nikki, whom she said showed her true love. At the age of 4 Nikki received a baby brother Bradley who was definitely the baby.
In September of 1993 Dyan married the true love of her life, Michael and moved to Winona, Texas. They shared a once in a lifetime love.
In 1998 Casey was born and changed everything. He then became the most important thing to Dyan and Michael.
On September 13th, 2021 Dyan lost the love of her life and soulmate, Michael when he was called to go home to his Lord and savior.
From there Dyan went into a depression and her health deteriorated losing her companion of 28 years.
Our mother is finally reunited with her love, dancing on those streets of gold with our daddy.
Dyan leaves behind 3 children Casey Lake Grabbs of Winona, Texas, Angela Nichole Cline and husband Nick of Kilgore, Texas and Richard Bradley Jernigan and wife Cynthia of Tyler, Texas; 3 granddaughters, Alexis Diane Prewit and husband Jc Prewit of Tyler, Texas, Bailey Jernigan of Tyler, Texas and Joscelyn Jernigan of Tyler, Texas; 2 great-granddaughters, Blakeley Raine and Paisley Prewit; her mother, Rani Fleming Jamison of Center, Texas; sister Kim Jamison and wife Kayla Hester of Giddings, Texas; brother Alfred Jamison and wife Debbie of Lufkin, Texas; and Catherine Causey, mother of Bailey and Joscelyn who will always be considered her daughter in law.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 3 in the afternoon at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas with interment to follow at Starrville Cemetery.
