Dylan Feathers Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home on Feb. 26, 2026.
KINGSPORT, TN – Dylan Paul Feathers, 34, passed away unexpected on Monday, February 23, 2026 at the home of his "Granny" Polly Foster.

Dylan was born on July 29, 1991, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to his parents, Paul Feathers and Kimberly (Kestner) Ucchino. He was a 2009 graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School West. In 2011, Dylan enlisted in the United States Navy. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal in recognition of his dedicated service to our country.

Dylan had a heart of gold and was always thinking of others before himself. He was often seen carrying cans of soup in his pockets just in case he ran across someone in need. He loved music, playing the guitar, and traveling to hear some of his favorite bands perform. He was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be missed more than words can express.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, James Feathers; paternal grandfather, James Wallace Feathers, Sr.; step grandfather, Jimmy Foster; maternal great grandparents, Kathleen and Ralph Leonard and Preston and Kathryn Kestner; paternal great grandparents, Paul Adams Hale and Sylvia Moseley; and his step "Grammy", Becky Kestner.

Dylan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kim and Paul Ucchino; father, Paul Feathers; sisters, Cheyenne Ferguson, and Kelly (Feathers) Scanlan; baby brother, River Feathers; maternal grandparents, Gary Kestner, and Sherry Kestner (Albert Elliott); paternal grandmother, Polly Ann (Moseley) Foster; step grandfather, Don Neff; aunts, Erin Hager, and Rose of Sharon (Feathers) Thacker; uncle, Brock Malcolm; great aunts, Millie Kiser, and Millie Crawford; great uncle, Raymond Moseley (Erin); special nieces, Lyric, Laveah, and Lillyanna Scanlan as well as many special cousins, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 – 12:30 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Shades of Grace United Methodist Church in Kingsport, TN. A memorial service will follow the visitation. A military graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM following the memorial service at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Hammond Post #3/265.
