Lisa M. Feathers, of Syracuse, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on January 17, 1975, in Syracuse, she was a vibrant and compassionate spirit whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Lisa was a devoted wife to her husband, Robert Feathers and a proud mother to three daughters, Jamie (John Hooper) Feathers, Elizebeth Feathers, and Alexis Gasiorowski, as well as two sons, Michael Feathers and Joseph (Aly) Coles; eight grandchildren; father, Pablo (Brenda Corsette-Rivera) Rivera; mother, Doris Landrine; three brothers, Pablo (Malinda) Rivera Jr., Peter (Barbara) Rivera, and Jose (Terri) Drogo; and six sisters, Amy (Ben) Johnson, Amanda (Carlos) Aldana, Elisha Rivera, Christine Rivera, Holly Rivera, and Anna Haggerty. Lisa's family was her greatest accomplishment, and she committed herself wholeheartedly to building a loving community around them.
Known for her welcoming nature, Lisa's door was always open—she was often considered everyone's mom. Her compassionate, selfless, and thoughtful personality left an indelible mark on those who sought her wisdom and guidance. Always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear, she exemplified what it meant to be a true friend.
Lisa had a passion for writing, writing many short stories throughout the years and the outdoors, often enjoying fishing, camping, and embracing all that nature had to offer. She was also an ardent football fan, proudly cheering for the New York Giants.
A visitation to honor Lisa's memory will take place on February 27, 2026, from 3 -4PM, followed by a funeral service at 4PM all at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.
Lisa M. Feathers leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and strength that will forever inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. She was, indeed, the happy within the storm.
