Stanley is survived by his daughter, Darlene Alberta (Steve) Ransberger of Chiefland, Florida; and his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Justin Stanley Feathers, Mersadez Leigh Richardson, Gabriella Lynn Richardson, and Elizabeth Ann Richardson. He is survived by his siblings, Robert Wayne Feathers of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Charles Richard Feathers, Joseph “Roger” (Merinda) Feathers, and Sherman Woodrow “Woody” (Eleanor) Feathers, all of Cassopolis, Michigan. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Robert L. Koller and niece and nephews Jill J Estes, Robert L Kollar Jr and Rodger B Kollar.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy; his siblings, Rebecca Ellen Feathers, Francis Jannette Buckland, Samuel Jerome Feathers, Florence Marie Heaton, and Arthur Delano Feathers; and his great grandson, Maddix Lee Feathers.
Stanley was employed for many years with Skyline Corporation in Elkhart. Outside of work, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting elk, deer, boar, and bear, and fishing trips to Northern Canada with his family. He also loved playing bingo at the Salvation Army, attending the Osceola Bluegrass Festival, playing cards, and spending time at the casino. A true “people person” Stanley enjoyed being around others and never missed an opportunity for good company and conversation.
