Steven R. Temple, 72, of Mishawaka, bravely fought until his passing on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with family by his side. He was born on October 17, 1953, in South Bend to the late Frank Temple and Dorothy (Griggs) Armstrong, and later married Anna Edmonson who survives.
Surviving also are his children, Kelly (Charles) Powell of Osceola, and Carri Nusbaum of South Bend, five grandchildren, Morgan, Kiona, Merrick, Annalie, and Abella and siblings Peggy (Wade) Bowser, Lisa Sylvan, both of Elkhart, Joe (Paula) Temple of Mishawaka, and Tammy (Phillip) Valdez of Walkerton.
Steven faithfully served as a machinist at South Bend Modern Molding until his retirement. Beyond his work, he found great enjoyment in restoring his Camaro hot rod in the garage, building model cars with careful attention to detail, and taking motorcycle rides with Anna.
Cremation has taken place with no formal services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Steven.
