Dylan Tyler McNamara
30, of Camden, suddenly passed away due to a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
He was born September 5, 1994, in Cincinnati, to his parents, Tina (Steele) and the late David McNamara.
In addition to his dad, Dylan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Connie and David McNamara.
He is survived by his children, Landon, Brantley, and Sammy; Fiancée, Cheyenne Boggs; mom, Tina McNamara; siblings, Shelby and Aaron McNamara; maternal grandma, Sandy Stamm; nieces and nephews, Liam, Lily, Brooklyn, Vincent, Silas, and Zoey; and many more family and friends.
Dylan’s heart was most at peace when he was surrounded by nature. Whether he was boating on Brookville Lake or hiking the scenic trails of Hueston Woods State Park, he found joy in the quiet beauty of the outdoors. His adventurous spirit led him across the country—from the stunning cliffs of Red River Gorge in Kentucky, to the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, to an unforgettable 45-mile trek through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Dylan was the kind of person who followed his heart and the open road—you never knew when he might take off on a spontaneous journey, like the time he called his mom just to let her know he was at Niagara Falls.
But more than any destination, Dylan treasured the moments spent with those he loved. He had a deep love for his family, and some of his happiest memories were made right at home—gathering around a backyard bonfire, laughing under the stars. He delighted in taking his kids on adventures, especially to Kings Island, sharing his love for exploration and fun with them.
Dylan will be remembered for his free spirit, his deep love for the natural world, and the way he made everyday moments with his family feel like the greatest adventure. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the forests, lakes, and mountains he so dearly loved—and in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to share those moments with him.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 25 from 11AM to 1PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating with interment to follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
