Dylan M. Smith

Canandaigua - Dylan M. Smith, age 17, passed away at home on Friday, August 2, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his parents, Ryan and Angela (Speers) Smith; three siblings, Madelyn, Emilia and Evan Smith; grandparents, Randy and Diane Smith, Cathy and Paul DeMay, Dan and Debbie Speers; aunts and uncles, Rachael Smith, Joel (Natalie) Smith, Julia (Mark) Ippolito, Matthew (Andrea) Speers and Brittani (Herb) Baker; and many cousins.
Dylan was born in Canandaigua, attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 2024. He played drums in the school bands. Dylan enjoyed playing sports and video games, listening to music and spending time on his computer. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Dylan always enjoyed helping others and giving back. He loved spending time with family and friends. Dylan will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life gathering for Dylan will be held Sunday, August 11, from 2-8pm, at King's Catering, 4031 Routes 5 & 20, Canandaigua. The family requests that everyone wear red or blue, Dylan's favorite colors.
