E. Judith (Rosen) Castiglione, age 95, of Swampscott, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was born March 9, 1930, in Boston, a daughter of the late Farley and Elizabeth Rosen.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Raymond R. Castiglione, their son Barry S. Castiglione, and her two sisters Jeannette Lowenstein and Dorothy Golderg.
Judith loved living in Europe for many years. This is where she developed and enhanced her love of cooking. She enjoyed hosting many dinner parties for family, friends and business associates.
Prior to moving to Swampscott, she had lived in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for many years. Judith is survived by her daughter, Leslie Emack, her friend Barry Lischinsky, her daughter in law, Diane Castiglione, her grandsons Dan Emack and Michael Castiglione, her granddaughter in law Sarah Emack, and her great granddaughters Evangeline and Rosalie Emack. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11:30AM in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church 178 Humphrey St. Swampscott, MA 01907. Guestbook at www.solimine.com
